Delete Your Pitbrain Account
This page explains how users of the Pitbrain mobile application can request deletion of their account and associated data.
1. How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your Pitbrain account, email info.pitbrain@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account.
Include the following in your message:
- Your Pitbrain account email address.
- A clear statement that you want your account deleted.
- Any details that help us identify your account, if you use multiple sign-in providers.
2. What Will Be Deleted
- Your account profile and identifiers stored for Pitbrain app access.
- Your uploaded telemetry sessions, laps, and related user-owned session metadata.
- Associated cached operational records that are linked to your account during deletion processing.
3. What May Be Retained
Some limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or compliance purposes.
- Minimal audit or support records needed to document the deletion request.
- Short-term backup or disaster recovery copies until they expire in the normal retention cycle.
- Diagnostic or security logs that must be retained for a limited operational period.
4. Deletion Timeline
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days. If additional time is required for identity verification or legal reasons, we will respond using the email address provided in your request.
5. Data Deletion Without Full Account Deletion
If you want specific uploaded data removed without deleting your full account, you can request that in the same email. Please identify the data you want removed.
